This is a delicious dish perfect as an appetizer or main course. We had wrapped at two of our favorite restaurants on our recent trip to Gatlinburg over the Christmas holiday. My son loved them so much, I decided to recreate them at home.

Pioneer Woman’s Jalapeno-Bacon Poppers – Cookin’ Canuck

I agree with Pioneer Woman; I have no idea what to call these…”thingies”. All I know is that they are so good that I might trade my first born for a platter of them. The juices of the seep down into the cream and are a perfect foil for the subtle spice of the jalapeno .

Mmm…moment of silence, please…
